"A look of determination upon her face, Lara Croft emerges from the jungle to face the adventures that await her. What has she seen? Only she knows! What has she survived? Innumerable perils! And yet she remains strong, stronger than she was before when her journey began. In the crucible of adversity she has been... reborn!"

This began as a photo of me dressed in a gray tank top paired with a pair of green cargo pants. The photo was an older one of me standing in my front yard, with my hair as its' natural dark brown color. I decided to do a quality photo manip with it in order to create a totally different, re-imagined Lara Croft.

So I took my photo, altered the face to look more like the Lara Croft from the video games, and changed the background to make it a jungle rather than my front yard. I did some cartoon and watercolor filterings on the image using GIMP and the result is this spectacular all-new, all-different take on an iconic character.

This truly is... Lara Croft Reborn! Enjoy.
